Feeding Instructions
Feed continuously as the sole ration. Keep feeders about ½ full at all times. Feed should be fresh and feeders clean to help avoid disease. Supplemental grit and oyster shell may be provided if birds are confined to a cage. Grit helps in feed digestion and the oyster shell provides additional calcium for stronger egg shells. Provide plenty of fresh, clean water at all times. Layers should receive about 16 to 17 hours of light per day for optimum laying potential.

Better feed means more eggs!
Other feed that I have bought, the pellets fell apart and were crushed to a point where there was powder in the bags, but this feed has nice pellets that don't get ground into the dirt. My 41 chickens love this chicken feed! I am getting more eggs with these pellets and when my chickens are happy, they keep me happy too!

The price is reasonable. The brand is pretty good. Easy enough to open the bag. It was 40 pounds of feed. My chickens ate it and still are producing eggs so I give it a thumbs up. Will buy again and I do recommend this brand. Especially for the affordable part. And the eggs upon cooing still taste the same.

the chickens eat it, egg production is good.
I bought this because it has the omega 3 for my old hens. when I first started ordering it was often out of stock ,long delivery time and priced higher than similar items I could get at feed store.Now price is very reasonable , delivery is great and it seems to be in stock .The best part is my 3 year old hens eat it, and are still laying an egg a day .Egg quality is improving as This is my 4 th consecutive bag. I ve just started adding it to my young pullets feed as they transition from grower to layer feed.They have accepted it , as I'm not finding alot of discarded feed.For the price, home delivery, and the quality of the feed I give it a 5 *.
