I bought this harness in the green shade, since my cat has green eyes. he looks beautiful in it. he now gets to enjoy the fresh air and go outside when the dogs do. this has changed his life for the better. he has always been an indoor cat, always curious of the outside and wanting to explore. now he can. poor baby is 6 years old, I thought it was high time he has access to outside. I'm so excited about this harness and happy to have it. I would recommend it to anyone.

This is a very sturdy harness and leash. I like the soft harness that easily adjust. The material is a soft mesh. The straps are no wider than a normal collar. The buckles snap into place to secure the harness around the belly and around the neck. There is a metal D ring on the strap below the neck to attach the leash. The leash has a heavy duty clasp that attaches to the D ring. The entire set up is very easy. You just need to put it on and then take it off to adjust. This does take some time to acclimate your cat. Mine has never been in a harness so this was not something that works right away. The instructions with the product gives some good suggestions. Try putting the harness on while your cat is relaxed around the house, like when eating, lounging or playing. Once used to the harness you can let them walk around the house using the leash. The biggest thing is to be patient and not expect your cat to let you put this on and go for an outside walk. Once you get to the outside walk, start slowly and make sure the outside environment is safe. Never leave this on when you are not around. It is like any collar and could get caught on something harming your cat. With time your cat will be able to enjoy an outdoor walk with you. The harness and collar are not machine washable, spot clean only. Hand wash if needed then lay flat to dry. This product is well made. I highly recommend it to anyone who wants to take their cat for walks. Just make sure to work with them before just expecting them to go for a walk with it.
