I have 2 pairs set up stacked with a couple of paper towels in between that always remains dry. I learned to double bowls in the winter to keep them from splitting, years ago. They hold a half gallon of water and once it turns to ice in this year's frigid cold, I just gently twist and if necessary, press on the inside lip and the Ice falls right out! EXACTLY WHAT I WANTED THEM FOR! GREAT FOR WINTER!

Easy for the wild animals to get a drink
We use this outside for the squirrels and birds so they can get a drink. We have had a cold winter, so the water has been frozen solid in the mornings, but the ice dumps out easily so we can put fresh water in the bowl. Now we have a bunch of square blocks of ice sitting around looking like we are preparing to build an igloo! 😂
