We have a 10 month old, small spaniel and she adores her "Hedgy!" He sounds like a pig and is almost as big as she is, so she bullies him about with glee for long periods of time, then snuggles up with him for a nap when exhausted. GREAT toy for moderately "aggressive" dogs who can be a bit tough on their toys.

I've gotten 3 of these for my puppy and each time she gets one, her tail wags so fast and so long! She loves to bring it to me and show off her new toy. The squeak is low-pitched so it sounds like a naughty creature coming to get your dog! Whew! They will save you though because this hedgehog is chewable, really durable and cute. The value is amazing for what you're getting. Sturdy little thing! Not a loud/high pitched squeaker either, so it's funny to watch them squeak it.
