VersaBond by Custom Building Products is a polymer-modified, Portland cement mortar system designed for excellent adhesion to interior surfaces without the need for a latex additive. This versatile thin set mortar is ideal for adhering glazed and unglazed ceramic mosaic, glazed wall tile, quarry, terrazzo, cement-bodied tile, high-lug tiles, and pavers to properly prepared interior surfaces, including exterior grade plywood and many resilient flooring surfaces. VersaBond thin set mortar also provides increased bond strength when used over conventional substrates such as concrete, concrete block, WonderBoard, gypsum drywall, and existing ceramic tile. Suitable for interior use only, this tile mortar mix is not recommended for use over cushion resilient flooring, hardwood or parquet flooring, particle board, wafer board, masonite, metal, or plastic. Coverage varies depending on substrate, tile, and trowel size, with an average of approximately 2 sq. ft. per lb. Allow the mortar to cure for 24 to 72 hours before grouting, and clean up with water immediately after use.
