I love Vernors Zero Sugar Ginger Soda, But...

I love Vernors Zero Sugar Ginger Soda, but it is often out of stock. As soon as it is restocked, it sells out quickly—both in stores and online. Recently, I placed an online order for store pickup and was able to add ten twelve-packs to my cart. However, when I picked up my order, I received only one twelve-pack. Given how quickly this product sells, it seems logical that it should be ordered in larger quantities to meet demand. I hope Walmart will consider increasing the supply of this popular item.

Vernors Gingerale a good find at Walmart

There very few stores carry Vernors Gingerale, so Iwas happy to see it on the Walmart online app. It is quite different tasting in that compared to the other gingerales it has a much stronger ginger flavor which I like. The price is about the same as all special sodas. My only complaint is that I chose zero sugar - which is my normal choice - i could tell the difference. Next time I will splurge for the sugar.

More flavorful

This review is based on the current 2025 market in canned ginger drinks. Vernors used to be so 'gingery' that kids could not handle it and it would sneak up your nose and overwhelm your senses. Now they call it ginger soda, not as good and not nearly as good for mixing drinks. That being said, I can't find a better sugar free ginger drink today. Other brands are even more wimpy in flavor so I have to compromise on my tastes. This still has a subtle genuine ginger flavor aftertaste that others lack. All of these are good to help settle your stomach. Due to a (prescription) chemical injury to my stomach this is what I now drink in the morning as I can't handle coffee or tea any more. I also recommend this brand as the best sugar free for mixed drinks. I would not buy any drinks in cans if I could not recycle the empties - this is an important responsibility for all consumers!
