First created in Detroit Michigan by a pharmacist in 1862 making it one of the oldest sodas in the United States. In fact, Vernors Ginger Soda is still popular in its home state as well as in other parts of the country. Ask any proud Michigander and they’ll tell you all about how much they love their Vernors Gingers Soda, although you might hear them refer to it as ‘pop’ instead. The Best Ginger Ale You Can Drink
I have been enjoying "Vernors" since I was a young child and I am now in my 70s. Fantastic flavor that has been around since 1866. It was invented as a stomach remedy. Who can remember your Mom bring you a warm mug of "Vernors" when you were sick with a cold or had an upset tummy? I love it ice cold or warm with a cinnamon stick and a shot of whiskey on a freezing winter day. I had an Uncle that moved to Florida and his kids had to bring him cases of Vernors whenever they went to visit him.
