This product lathers great, smells fine, not strong or chemically, but not strongly perfumed either. Rinses well. A little went a long way on my long hair Yorkie. Easy to use bottle. Did not irritate her skin, nor overly dry it- however, I use conditioner rinse for drop coat dogs on the Yorkie after the shampoo is rinsed out. My research shows using conditioner after anti-microbial shampoo is better at keeping skin bacterial growth down. As with all Chlorhexidine products, keep well out of eyes. They're not supposed to lick it while you keep it on them at least 5-10 minutes before rinsing, but if a little gets in the mouth it will not hurt them. If you've been recommended to use a Chlorhexidine shampoo this one works great for a great price. Excellent value.
