The Valvoline Full Synthetic lubricants always receive positive test results when analyzed by a Lab. The quality is excellent for the price. You could find a better gear oil but it will cost much more. Be sure to use the viscosity recommended in the Vehicle Owners Manual.

Better oil cheaper than OEM factory replacement
Been using Valvoline products for years as they have an unmatched quality to value ratio. Bought in small bulk (10qts) enough for both of my Yukons and only $10.50 per qt. Elsewhere the going rate was averaging $12 per qt. It should tell one something when you can buy better oil cheaper than OEM factory replacement oil.

Best I have tried.
The 75w-90 synthetic V gives me the best results of any I've tried. Tried Redline and had shifting problems. The regular Valvoline ran very hot. This gives the best shifting and cooler running than anything I've found so far. I do fill directly from the bottle. The pumps never worked well for me. Toyota Tocama TRD 2001. (250,000 miles) Good luck.
