Wasn't sure how strong since there was no mil strength on the description . I'm very glad I ordered them, I would say that they have at least 1.7 mil they are very strong and sturdy and even seem to be a little bigger than an 8 gallon size, this was perfect for my pull out cabinet which has two garbage containers one for trash and one for recycling. Will definitely buy again.
