Bought this to see if could move enough air from my gas stove to warm my living room from the kitchen ( which is right next door ), during a power outage. It wasn't strong enough to do that, but it would probably be strong enough to circulate air through a small to medium size tent or mini van. I could feel a slight breeze from the fan from about 3 feet away and when I held my hand a couple of feet above the stove, I could feel considerably less heat than if the fan wasn't being used. So, the air was in fact being circulated away from the stove. I gave a five star rating because the fan does do what is claimed by the manufacturer even though it didn't suit my purpose. I will give it to my sister who camps a lot if she wants it.
