I was surprised how easy it was to put up. I am renting a condo and wanted something that I could remove if I have to. In the tub I guess the built in ceramic soap holder had broke. They didn't put a new one in, but instead patched it. All around the tub was molded. I put the contac across the tub where the where the soap was. I have been here 3 months and it hasn't let any water seep behind, and thee is no peeling. I am very happy with this product.
