Worked well as intended

The tension rod was used to hold a faux roman shade in my kitchen window. The top of the window had wooden molding, and so a rod could not be mounted to the molding because of an uneven surface. Hence the use of a tension rod. The rod only had to span about 36 inches, and twisted nicely to hold the curtain. In truth, the curtain weighs less than a pound, so there is next to no weight on the rod. However the rod does what it is intended to do. The end caps of the rod required a large opening in the curtain. Other than that, the curtain went together well, and mounted with ease.
