First of all... I received this package delivered to my house today at Walmart,Poulsbo,Wa. branch. Wow! Very fast shipping %26 same day delivery! What a very satisfying shopping experience! Way more better than Amazon! And most important of it all is what an excellent product this is from Panasonic! I tested my brand new 4K UHD, Blu-Ray %26 DVD disc player for the first time %26 ran it for about an hour (for sure these products last for years! I know so) and the results was very surprisingly very satisfying! The clarity of the video and graphics was very excellen packed with a premium high definition sound! Parter the 4K UHD, Blu-Ray disc player with a 4K UHD smart TV and a premium HDMI cable will absolutely give you a "watching a movie" experience to a whole new level! I loved this product! The price isn't that bad too but wished I could've get a promotional discount to bring the price down but it's no big deal because buying this product is worth it! I highly recommend Walmart online shopping and in store shopping! And I absolutely highly recommend the Panasonic 4K Blu Ray Player, Ultra HD Premium Video Playback and Hi-Res Audio - DP-UB150-K.

Awesome picture quality

Picture quality is incredible. My Panasonic tv remote works dvd player, so I don't have to use two remotes. Needed to do a firmware update (via Ethernet) for one particular 4K dvd to work, a known issue with the movie dvd (Twister), not the dvd player. Highly recommended! Did I say the picture quality is AWESOME? It is!

AMAZING Value 4K Blu Ray Player

This is an AMAZING budget/value 4k blu ray player (there are many out there that don't actually play 4k blu ray discs). This was the most affordable unit I was able to find anywhere, especially as it was $50 off with the rollback (around $150 total!). I confirmed this does play blu rays and 4k blu ray discs (I didn't test a DVD, but I'm sure that will work just fine too). NOTE/WARNING: This does NOT include everything necessary to use out of the box. It does not include an HDMI cable OR ethernet cable. The ethernet cable is only necessary for software updates, so definitely not required. My unit didn't even need any updates when I first set it up. However, the lack of HDMI cable could be a problem if you don't have one lying around. I used an old HDMI cable and that worked just fine! So I don't think you need any special/fancy 4k HDMI cable.
