Works well
I am seeing a lot of other comments saying that it did not fit their grinder. There are three versions of the adapter: a 4" one with the small arbor and the 4 1/2" one with the 5/8" arbor, and apparently a 7" one. Buy the right one for your grinder. Just remove the retaining nut and the washer underneath and screw the adapter on. Tightly... I am however having trouble finding replacement discs. Not the identical ones it came with that have the slots around the arbor hole. I think these are best for the adapter pad...

REALLY POOR DESIGN
Bought the 4 1/2 conversion kit. Once you place the sand paper on the disc the lock nut then is not long enough to reach the arbor to tighten down. Works great tightening down without sandpaper on the disc but what good is that. Read the responses on every website which carries this product and like get a clue you need to redesign the lock nut length. For now this is a useless product.
