Very deep to add all type of material. It's listed as a bar sink, but prefect for doing veggies, fruits with soaking and peeling. Included was a rack for your veggies or fruits to sit on while soaking. If you're using for a bar sink, prefect to wash lemons or limes and sitting your glass container to bewashed. I give this item a 10 it hits all the check offs for being prefect size and the quality and craftsmanship is spot on. I see many uses for this product. Go checks them out houzersink
