Unlimited Saga (PS2)

this is the most annoying game i have ever played. once you enter a level, you can't leave until you beat it, or you die. the average level takes about 1 hour. it's an rpg, but you don't "level up" until you beat a level. and by level up, i mean learn a skill (you can only have like 6 skills total. ever.). it's extremely hard to figure out what way you are going on the map. there are no save points, no resting spots. once you enter a level, if you get hurt, that's it. no healing unless you have the spell in an item. all items have limited numbers of uses and then they dissapear. every event in the game generates random outcomes depending on your character's skills (ie, don't open treasure chests unless you have the lockpicking skill, or else they will blow up or poison you or something.) the combat would be good if it wasn't so random. basically every time you attack, a roulette wheel spins. once you press the button, the wheel stops. you'd better hope that the wheel landed on the attack you wanted because that's what your character is going to attack with. well, enough of the bad. there is more, but i think i listed all the things that really bugged me. the good: 7 completely different stories with 7 completely different characters. all of which take place in the same world. (that's pretty neat to me).... that's about it. i strongly suggest only picking up this title if you are into hardcore gaming. because this IS the hardest rpg i have ever played.
