I made homemade soup the other day and forgot that I threw out the old blender weeks prior. This was bought as a quick replacement because I had company on the way over for dinner. Took it out of the box, blended the soup and was able to serve w/in the hour. It blended the soup perfectly w/out any clumps. Also, the price was so on. My only complaint was the base was made of light plastic but the jar was heavy glass which i was looking for.

Its a fair price, and about what we expected. Negative: The unit is only 700 watts of power. Be it for blending drinks with ice, or other foods, this is not exactly powerful.
