Excellent

I bought this scanner after doing much research to make more room in our bonus room for craft stuff, not boring old tax records & the like. Once I got going with that I decided to expand to my craft inventory, genealogy documents, literally anything on paper is a candidate. So happy with the results: freed up 15 boxes of records so far. Everything about this scanner is easy & straightforward. I scan to Evernote so documents, photos, etc are organized into notebooks, stacks & tags so retrieval is easy, saved to the cloud & external hard drive. Feed all the paper into my shredder. My once overflowing in-box is gone.

Both sides at once - Very Fast!

I did a lot of research before I bought This Scanner. It's much smaller than I thought it would be. It is extremely fast . The scanner I had before it Did 2 or 3 pages per minute ...DS-575W seems to do More than 30 pages per minute And it is scanning both sides of each page! This completely blew my mind. I also have it set up So that I can either have the document go straight to my local Scan folder or if I select email It calls up a new email and attaches the scan to it. so This little Machine has completely revolutionized my Daily office routine. I am a real estate agent And I do A decent amount of scanning Sometimes 20 or 30 or 40 pages at a time . now I just stack them all in the 575 W And it scans it directly into my Electronic Cloud based Storage on Dotloop . Don't hesitate . I did all of your research for you. Please forgive the random capitalizations As I am using speech to text .

Key tool in my work and personal efficiency

This is a review for the Epson DS-575W II Wireless Color Duplex Document Scanner that I received free of charge to do a beta test and review. This was my first foray into incorporating a dedicated scanner into my home-office workflow and I have been duly impressed. True to their long established reputation, this Epson model allows me to create high quality scans of double-sided pages, quickly and easily. Like many, I'm grateful for today's technology for decluttering by storing documents in the cloud. I am also a heavy user of a note-taking app (in my case, Evernote), which I also use to store scans of documents, articles, and handwritten notes. The combination of being able to easily scan all my documents and have the Epson included Document Capture Pro software properly file them in the great filing cabinet in the sky (and out of my physical office) is a game changer. The one bummer I was disappointed with this model is that it no longer supports direct integration with Evernote. There's a workaround of using the legacy version of Evernote to upload, but that's an added step which I hope an upcoming update will fix. My office is cluttered enough, so I appreciate this model's neat wireless connectivity, without messy cabling. Scanning has become a breeze. Big step-up of efficiency and clarity from using other slower home-office scanning methods. Those still reliant at home on painfully using your phone to scan: please stop torturing yourself. I love fast double-sided scanning not just for work contracts, memos, etc, but I can do away with all my personal paper bills, invoices, forms etc that I need to keep for possible use one day (though likely never) but I can throw out for now. With this scanner, one can simply touch a button to do an easy quick scan. Or, if desired, finely control the parameters (double-sided, skip blank pages, set the dpi resolution, etc.). You can also save directly to your destination – send to printer or directly to other destinations including SharePoint, Google Drive, your note taking app, or CRM. One can even choose the precise folder where the scans should go. All this can be batched into ‘jobs', so with your parameters saved, with the press of one button you can have the job run = all your scanning done to your specifications and automatically filed in the proper folder! The app controls make it easy. If you're already a regular scanner - or can see the advantages of becoming one - I think you too will be quite pleased with how this will improve and speed up your workflow.
