Great tires!!

The comfort ride is much better than the tires I just got rid of. The noise is much better with the Uniroyal tires. The performance of the tires so very much better. Traction has been great on dry and wet roads. Haven't been on snow yet. I really love these tires and this came recommended by Ford Service Department in Carlisle, Pennsylvania. Great tires!!!

Great tires, nice service techs, mediocre service

I knocked off one star because with just two cars in the Walmart shop, it should not take 1-1/2 hours to mount, balance and install 4 tires. Durability - too soon to judge If you're not familiar with the tire ratings, "Treadwear, Traction and Temperature" do a quick search on them. These Uniroyal tires were rated as follows: Treadwear 700, Traction "A" and Temperature "A." They're well worth the extra twenty over Walmart's Douglas tires. Uniroyal is a subsidiary of Michelin. These tires are a big improvement on handling and run noticeably quieter than the tires they replaced.

long term problems

I bought a set of 4 in 2018, they were a great tire until this year with about 50% of the tread left the cords began to separate and they developed flat spots I replaced two about a month ago and just replaced another one today for the same reason. The first pair have been returned to the manufacture for inspection and I am awaiting results. I live in Ca. Central Valley so I wonder if the heat could be an issue or is it a Manfacturing defect.
