I'd recommend this costume — it's really cute and well-made — but be aware that the sizing runs very large. I understand they designed it to fit a range of ages, but the size I ordered for my 7-year-old daughter could easily fit a 10-year-old. You may want to size down for a better fit.

We purchased this costume for a 13 year old as part of Space program project at school. It was on the larger side for my child, would have easily fit an adult small (5'3"-4"). It was fine if you plan to use it just once as a costume, but not made for multiple use. He had owned a similar costume when he was younger (8 yrs) by a different company. The material on that was better, stiched well made and had rubberized collar. He pretty much lived in that costume for about 2 years and kept it as a keepsake for couple years after he outgrew it. Never had a rip or tear! This costume looked very similar to the previous one, so I was expecting same quality. Hence the disappointment. Other wise not bad.
