Unbreakable Air Deflector 10" to 14" Black Adjustable Heat and Air Vent Deflector Magnetic for Floor Registers, Vents, Sidewall, and Ceiling Registers

I had a cabinet over top of a vent. Needed a deflector. Liked these so much I ended up purchasing 4 of them. We do have some register covers that have built in fans. These do not have non-ferrous metal covers that the magnets will attach to. So that was a bust on my part. Ending up keeping the deflectors and using elsewhere like a wall vent in the half bath. It is the coldest room in the summer and hottest in the winter. The problem is that wall vent is directed at the toilet, so if you are there when the HVAC system kicks in... well its unpleasant. Added a deflector and problem solved. I purchased this black set based on reviews that mentioned strong magnets whereas several brands made with clear plastic had reviews that said these units magnets were weak. These magnets are strong, just make sure your floor or wall register isn't made of aluminum like the ones we purchased with twin fans. Great little units but airflow is naturally upward when furniture can be in the way.

I am very pleased with the product. It stood up to the heat of a wall electric fireplace that was damaging a laminated wood cabinet below it by directing heat outward instead of downward. The magnetic sides held it in place and the color matched the fireplace. The price was very reasonable.
