UltraHC® brake rotors offer an upgrade in material to certified GG15HC high carbon. This high carbon material delivers optimal thermal conductivity, high resistance to thermal fade and cracking, resistance to brake judder, increased damping capacity of brake vibration, low noise propensity, and it more readily produces a transfer film when using ceramic brake pads – an important factor in brake performance. The aluminum/zinc flake coating helps maintain a clean appearance behind today’s open rims. The rotor installs right out of the box and the coating on the friction surface is removed during the initial break-in period. Tighter machining specifications and precision computer balancing provide smooth braking performance. UltraHC® brake rotors are not only suited for luxury or sports cars, but can provide better performance and safety for all cars under all driving conditions.
