This is my second purchase of this Product. I lost one that I had had for 20 years and I couldn't see gardening without this. It's great for digging holes with clay in them especially. I've been using an almost identical tool for cutting through old roots and digging, only thing is my old tool was straight with a forked end to it. The Dirty Little Digger is like an ice cream scoop for soil! Digs right thru old root so I can remove them and scoops a proper amount of soil for my 4" veggie/herb starters. This is my new favorite tool!
