My 2 piece ultra light ugly stick is everything I hoped for & more. Really like the overall size, weight & action. My old one went to my daughter & every other option was either one piece or action too light. This pole will see many miles, streams & reservoirs on the Wyoming mountain roads. Really love the new hook tender eyelet by the handle. Good to know the product development team is thinking. Great product. Pole did arrive w/ one bent eyelet, even though it was packed in a cardboard tube. Mishandled at factory?

Great Rod

I am a fan of fishing with the lightest tackle possible. This 7' UL rod allows me to fish the smallest spinners in my tackle box with ease. I can also use it to "float and Fly" instead of taking my fly rod out. So far I landed bass to 3.5 pounds and trout to 3 pounds. The action is GREAT!

Bought two new gx2 rods one spinning and one casting both perform great the flexibility is outstanding when you are fighting big fish like catfish carp and Muskie it makes for a fun time, have seen torture tests done on them before buying one, if you want to see how great these rods are search it on YouTube a guy deadlifted his kids bike with it then towed his pontoon boat/trailer with it big game style reels were breaking with the pole still being in one piece buy one it's a steal of a deal at the price
