Not Waterproof!
My dogs like it to lay on during a sunny day because it gives them something comfier than the ground to lay on with a little bit of shade. But when it rains it holds water in the mattress and in the structure itself! The roof is 2 pieces and even after trying and tightening there is still a crack in the center which also contributed to water getting on the mattress and inside the structure other than the obvious open sides. Decent price for what it's worth but weather resistant isn't completely accurate. My dogs are small so it's definitely big enough for them and not worried about weight.
