trying to clean hot tub

I ordered 5 of these after checking reviews. We are trying to clean our hot tub. I used one and while it did some good, it was not that effective. Granted or hot tub surface is really rough due to a service company using a pressure washer on it. So it might be fine on a smoother surface.
