Good, heavy mid season pant

These are new, so I havent field tested them yet. These are a thick, heavy pant. Durable nylon outer shell, and thick fleece inside. If youve worn the infil pants, these are about twice as heavy and much thicker. Hunting in Louisiana, these will easily take me through late season, maybe without the need for a baselayer. There is no stretch to the waistband, so sizing will be more important. I wear 36 is just about every UA hunting pant and 34 in non hunting UA pant (room for layering in hunting pants). These fit snug, but again, I dont even think Ill have to layer so Im going to keep the 36s. If you live up north, you *may* want to consider sizing up for layering. Overall I like the construction, pockets and warmth of these. I still think the infil kit is the best there is (make it in Forest Camo UA!!!!), but these will come in handy for those cold mornings mid-late season.

Great

Great pants all around. If you plan on layering these for longer hunts where you would skip these on when you get to your spot, go up a size. I have a 32 in waist and can only fit a base layer underneath. Fabric is tough enough for Midwest whitetail hunting where the brush and briars are thick. Last hunt was in a stand with rain and snow off and on all day. 14 degrees when I got out and 26 when I was liked out and with a thermal bottom underneath these were plenty warm enough.

Run Small

The pant length is small. The add says the model wearing the pant is 6'2" so the pant length should be a 34". But it is closer to 32" so when you sit down the pants ride up even with the top of your boot. The wind can get your legs.
