These are so great for watercolor. I am trying to paint more this year and these have been great little books. They aren't very big, I love that they have an elastic close and a ribbon for where you left off. These don't lay completely flat and are great if you are doing one big picture across the middle.

These are excellent quality books. I was very surprised -- the pages take watercolor almost as good as Arches paper. The book is also very solid which makes it convenient for sketching on the go. The construction also lends itself nicely to doing two-page compositions without worrying about the center binding. This is a great deal for waterolor artists.
