The DMI Sliding Tub Transfer Bench and Shower Chair is designed to make bathing safer and more comfortable for anyone who has difficulty stepping over the tub wall or standing in the shower. Simply position one side of the bench outside the tub and the other inside, then sit down and slide into place instead of climbing in. The rust-resistant aluminum frame and blow-molded seat and backrest support up to 400 lb while remaining lightweight and easy to move. Integrated safety features include a hook-and-loop safety belt, seat locks to help keep the chair from moving, suction-cup feet for added stability, and a side handle for extra support. A removable cut-out provides perineal access for easier cleansing, and the backrest can be reversed for left- or right-hand entry. Measuring 39 in across with legs that adjust the seat height from 19–23 in, this bench is built to fit most standard bathtubs and showers and can be tailored to user needs.
