TRUEGARD 308 RUST PREVENTIVE is a solvent based fluid which leaves a thin, dry, waxy, highly protective film upon solvent evaporation. This light bodied fluid may be applied by spray, dip, or brush to provide several years indoor storage, up to one year of outdoor shed protection, and limited unsheltered outdoor protection. TRUEGARD 308 RUST PREVENTIVE possesses exceptional water displacing properties to ensure a consistent, high quality protective film. Water is rapidly and completely removed in order to provide an unbroken layer of protection over metal substrates. This is especially important when applying a rust preventive to parts after machining with a water soluble or synthetic coolant.
