Lousy AmbirScan software for a nice Pro Scanner

Lousy AmbirScan software for a nice Pro Scanner. Seems to be a well built scanner, is fast, and scans a clear image. Professional Scanner with Consumer software AmbirScan 5.1.0 will not work correctly if you are using a networked environment of computer systems and scanners. Even when used on a local computer only, the software is using your system resources continuously to store a preview of all previous scans. I had to return this scanner because of the lousy software after many hours trying to make it work on my own and then another wasted hour with Ambir Tech. I would hope that they would develop some professional software for this professional scanner. I will not purchase any of the ix series scanners again until this software issue is resolved.
