Easy change from old TracFone to new Samsung A10e

Got a notice on my account that my old phone would not work after a certain date. I picked this one off the Walmart website. When it came I read the directions, had fully charged both old and new phones, and had my page open with serial number and sim card number of the new phone. I turned them both on. I went though the start preferences on A10e. I then went to the TracFone website and followed their step by step. It involved putting the serial number of the new phone and the last 5or6 digits from the sim number of my old phone. It took about 10 minutes. I would say it took about another 10 minutes and my 7700 saved minutes, 5600 texts, and my saved data appeared on the new A10e. I was a little apprehensive based on some reviews, but it was easy and worked flawlessly for me. I like the new A10e and seems easier to work with than my old Samsung.

Perfect for general use

After reading the reviews I made sure to give this a few weeks before reviewing. But honestly I'm experiencing none of the issues I've seen reported. As a matter of fact this is the perfect phone for general use with decent performance. It comes with enough space for about 20 apps and a few games. Obviously with google photos being a thing now there's no need to store photos long term on your phone so that shouldn't be an issue. My only real complaint was that it does not appear that my safelink benefits transferred to this phone, even though it's advertised on the safelink web site... so I just went with a cheap monthly package.

So glad I purchased this Samsung, it has exceeded my expections. Replacing my old Samsung with a faster processing phone with 3x the memory was past due. Could not be happier and with it being reconditioned it did not break the bank and it seems brand new. Much easier to modify screen layouts and by using the Transfer Wizard, everything from contacts & apps came over perfectly.
