An excellent tire to fill the void between ultra high performance and rain capability. I loved these tires on my aggressively street driven NB Miata. Steering response, braking capability, and high speed stability is impeccable. Rain performance is confident in lighter conditions. Hydroplane resistance is better than most comparable tires. These tires give great both felt and heard feedback. Compound is good when cold, great when warm, and scary when hot. In my street and track driven BRZ, I've found these tires to get quite greasy with the high heat generated from running tight tracks and at the limit. Sacrificing lap times to let the tires cool to stay on the pavement is a big drawback. While there will never be a perfect "one tire to do it all", I do believe there are better candidates out there for the very small niche I find myself in. If you're not in that spot, go ahead. On faster tracks with a more common amount of straights they're perfect. I'd also imagine they would be great for auto-cross. Overall a very good high performance tire. From driving to work, out for some weekend fun, or across the finish line.
