I bought these for a 9 year old. He had fun trying to handcuff people, practicing unlocking them while cuffed, and practicing ways to get out of cuffs should he ever need too. It was entertaining for him and entertaining to the adults to watch the attempted escapes. I would recommend.

This is for a Halloween costume/the price was more than acceptable. Sturdy enough for an evening; does have an easy open button if the 2 keys are lost. I think it would be good for child's play. They are metal not plastic.
