Drake now offers an integral power steering conversion compatible with your 1965-1970 Classic Mustang. The conversion box is a remanufactured modern integral power steering gearbox. It provides true modern power steering feel, feedback and sporty 16:1 ratio. It has been remanufactured to bolt directly to the factory mounting location and to fit the stock pitman arm without any interference or modification of the shock tower. 1965-1967 models will require replacing column shaft. 1968-1970 models will need the factory column collapsed 1-2" for clearance. Eliminate your leaky control valve and sloppy steering. We offer both Kits to convert from manual to power and factory power to modern integral power steering. Please note factory pumps work with this kit above idle but will offer very little power assist under 800 RPM. We can special order a PS to PS Kit with a modern Saginaw Pump that is more effective at Lower RPM. Note: Will not fit manual transmission cars with factory equalizer bar.;
