Dispenses soap all the time!

I thought this sounded like a great idea to keep my husband and boys from getting my faucets dirty, but the touch had proven to be a pain in the rear. If I wipe off the counter near it, not even touching the dispenser it will go off. If we put dishes in the sink and just move too close, it goes off. I find we have wasted so much soap with this dispenser. I should have just gotten a cute soap dispenser to put on the counter. But it's too late, I would end up with a hole in the counter if I take it out.
