This is the second Black Diamond headlamp I have owned and the quality is great. It's light weight, low profile and comfortable to wear. I like the ability to dim or brighten. When on full bright, you have an illuminated area of view like you won't believe from such a small device. I bought a total of 4 for the family and everyone really enjoyed using them on a recent backpacking and camping trip. Also, I like the color options, too.

Great Inexpensive Head Lamp!
The Astro 175 is a great head lamp. I like the light weight simple use of this head lamp. I bought 3 - one for my backpack, one for my truck, and one for my toolbox.

Great head lamp, obviously not an extremely bright spotlight but the dimming feature is fantastic. I leave it on the lowest it can go and its perfect for in the tent and around camp.
