Great replacement staples for Craftsman 74404

I couldn't find the original Craftsman 74404 staples in 1/2 inch anywhere for my 20 year old Craftsman 68447 stapler. Like everything else Sears, it is no longer supported. I tried these and they work perfectly. They actually work better than the originals for some reason. I still had some of the old staples, and about every 4th or 5th one wouldn't seat flush even on the high power setting. They would go in, but have to be tapped down a bit with a tack hammer. The leg on these is maybe a 64th of an inch shorter than the 74404 staples, and they go in flush and hard every single time. I just used 60 on a project and didn't have a single failure to seat, and I also didn't have any failures to feed like used to happen sometimes. Anyway, highly recommended.
