Do not let children play with collar. Use only one collar per dog at a time. Dust forms on collar during storage. Do not get dust in mouth or eyes. Wipe collar with a damp paper towel or disposable cloth prior to applying. Place collar around dog's neck, adjust for fit, and buckle in place. The collar must be worn loosely to allow for growth of the dog and to permit the collar to move about the neck. Generally, a properly fitted collar is one that when fastened, will snugly slide over dog's head. Two fingers should fit between the collar and neck. Leave 2 or 3 inches for extra adjustment. Cut off excess length, wrap in newspaper and dispose of in trash. Wash hands after placing collar on dog. No ticks or fleas, seems to be working.
So far so good. Just had a few weeks but have no ticks or fleas. Easy to use and fit well with plenty of room to spare, we trimmed excess. You can smell the I guess you would call it chemical odor, but it's not so strong that it bothers you.

The dogs have only had the collars on a few weeks. I don't know if they're gonna work the full six months or not we shall see that's so far so good most people when they open a flea collar don't expect to have to add the water to it so that probably really used to be pointed out.
