I grow my own herbs and wanted a way to save them for later use. This tray just works fantastically for me to chop the herbs, add a bit of water, freeze and store in freezer bags. Great for herb bombs!
I use this tray to create little frozen herb bombs for my lentil soup or to stir into pastas, etc. Just add whatever (minced) leftover herbs you have to some olive oil or butter and freeze! Pop them out as needed or once frozen pop them into a baggie and have them at hands reach anytime.
