Paint chipping

I received this flex edge paddle when I purchased KP26M9. The paint at the top of the paddle is chopping away, which means the paint can drop into my battery as I am mixing. Ugh...

Excellent attachment

I have had a very good experience with using the flex edge beater. Today while mixing bread dough the rubber broke off of the flex edge beater. I see from reviews that happens often. Mine has fit well and I have used it for about 9 years. No problems with finish breaking. Surprised by the price now!!!

I was so excited about this. :-(

I was so thrilled with something that would scrape without stopping the mixer. Unfortunately you still have to stop and scrape because it will leave a wide stripe of unmixed batter around a point near the bottom of bowl. I also had a lot of the white come off and I used mine a lot so it wasn't long before the rubber part separated at the crease. So disappointing. I love all my other Kitchenaid products and really was hoping for more out of this one.
