I hopped around to different places to learn about Type C technology and the one key takeaway that I found time and time again was that the certification is a big deal if you want to get the most out of the technology. This cable is working great for me and seems really sturdy and well made -- which makes sense since it's certified by USB-IF which as I said, apparently is very important. Another hint, make sure you know exactly what USB-C cable you're getting and what it's in fact made for--do the research since it's pretty confusing and you want to make sure to get the right USB-C cable.

This got high ratings on all of the e-commerce sites where I shop so I decided to pick one up. I don't know much about cables or USB-C for that matter but this is a super durable cable and high quality so I'm happy with the purchase and it's doing everything these cables claim to.
