Excellent replacement.

Bought this 2 months ago to replace the failed unit on my JLG T-350. Direct replacement using the same bolts. Have to be careful when bending brake lines but it worked. Primeing the system only took a few minutes. The machine tows much more smoothly now., magically! Quite satisfied.

Easy to install and great looking

My old coupler was bent and not working. I thought replacement was going to be hundreds of dollars so I spent two years with banging and jerking trailer. I couldn't believe how cheap and easy it was to replace. I really like the sleekness and ease of the coupler. Priming the breaks takes a bit of work but that is to be expected.

Great Bolt on replacement

I bought this surge brake actuator after acquiring a used boat this spring that had a faulty one. This model was a direct replacement (bolt-on) for my trailer and installation was straightforward and simple. You will need to bleed the brake lines/system after installation but if you've ever done this type of maintenance on your personal vehicle, it's a piece of cake! The installation instructions are clear and easy to follow. Please note that this one is specifically designed for drum brakes like the description reads. The unit also came with a sticker on it to notify of this application. If you are experiencing a "slamming" of your trailer brakes, first check the fluid and if that doesn't fix it, it's time for a new actuator...Good luck!
