In a really bad picture taken from this site, you can see that the curve is at a right angle to the loop. In the picture of the one I just bought, the zigzag and the loop are in the same plane, making it really hard to engage the slot in the trigger. I have pictures, but your "add images" function seems to also be 1925 grade. I've used these before, and although treacherous, they could always be safely set, and oftne caught the vermin. When my hand stops bleeding, I may try to twist the pin and try again.

i bought 6 of these trap. Caught 1 little mice. that's it. These traps do not work. I set 6 traps. All with cheese The next morning 5 of baits were completely gone and neither trap was sprung. Tried again the next night. Same results. Very disappointed. The old ones worked much better.
