The Continental ProContact GX SSR (MOExtended) is a touring all season tire model made for passenger vehicles. It is the original equipment run flat tire of select Mercedes-Benz vehicles, as noted by the 'MO' marking.

The tire is a run flat model. It was manufactured with Continental's Self Supporting Run Flat technology or SSR. Its reinforced structure maintains the weight of the vehicle and the passengers after air pressure leaves the tire. This allows the tire to be driven on for 50 miles up to the speed of 50 mph, which enables the driver to safely arrive at a nearby location to fix or change the tire. These tires cannot be used on the same vehicle with non-run flat models.

The tire offers first-rate all weather traction and it grips the road well in all weather conditions. This is due to the special tread pattern that provides great road grip in dry, wet, and winter weather.
