OVERVIEW
The Continental CrossContact LX Sport (VW) is a touring, all season tire manufactured for SUVs and passenger vehicles. It has some high performance sizes as well. This specific tire is marked with VW as it is the original equipment of Volkswagen vehicles.
This all season model provides outstanding all weather traction, including in winter weather, which is possible thanks to the silica-infused tire compound. Its asymmetric tread pattern also improves its road grip and handling in these conditions. The tread design's wide circumferential grooves help channel the water from beneath the footprint of the tire, eliminating the risk of hydroplaning and making the driving experience safer.
The tire's unique asymmetric tread pattern, boosted traction and all weather road grip allow for a more precise steering response. Manufacturers recommend changing tires every 10 years. As long as tires are properly stored before they are sold, the year of their manufacture will not shorten their service life.
