Timex Waterbury Classic Chronograph 40mm Stainless Steel Mesh Band Watch

I like the way this watch looks, i.e, the size, easy-to-ready time, indiglo. However, the date window is so small, I can't read it at all. Given the size of the dial, it could have easily been bigger without it being obtrusive. Second, the date does not advance like every other modern watch. You can't advance it directly from 31 to 1 for example. The bezel, instead, advances the hour hand. So, you have to advance the hour hand around the clock until you get to the correct date. Also unusual is the reversal of the second hand and the chronograph second hand. On every other chronograph watch I've owned the second hand is the "usual" second hand every watch has and the chronograph second hand is one of the "small" dials. On the watch it is reversed. So when you look at the watch and expect to see the second hand moving, it does not. You have to look at the small dial at 6 o'clock. I also have an issue with the mesh band. I'm a female and there is about 2 inches too much band length for me. I don't think my wrist is especially small.
