yes, any jeweler can replace it or even the Walmart jewelry dept. should be able too.

Yes, it is replaceable. HOWEVER: you need a SPECIAL TOOL to get the back back on it! Pretty much only jewelers have these. My stock battery lasted less than 3 MONTHS and I&#39;ll be returning mine as I don&#39;t want to have to go to a jeweler every time I need to change the battery. Hope this helps, I swear it&#39;s true. Even had a jeweler tell me this.

This watch was a gift for someone elderly, who loves to garden, take care of farm animals, and just doesn't sit still! The watch had to be waterproof, keep good time, and be durable. As a bonus, it lights up in the dark, so it checks off all the right boxes!

Takes a licking is right!

I ordered this watch because it has large numbers, and a lighted background and that makes it easy to see with my 72 year old eyes. It is exactly as advertised. Having unusually large wrist, I had to change out the band, but I expected that I would have to do that, as I have never found an inexpensive watch with a band that fits me right out of the box. Anyway, it seems like a very good watch for the money and I am well satisfied.

Very good watch for a senior

I bought this watch for my 87 year old father who is a certified clock watcher. He loves the watch. The watch face is easy to read during the day, and at night, depress the winding stem makes the face glow. The only issue we had was with the band. The first couple links in the band on either side of the watch don't bend, they are fused together. It is not a bad feature for normal wearing, but my dad doesn't wear his watch on top of his wrist, rather on the side. That way he can read the time without moving his arm. The non-bending links cause the band to not form to his wrist. I fixed that issue with a spare Speidel band I had laying around.

My friend had one just like it that he wore for years and the light was going out in it and the button was getting hard to push so he wanted another one just like it. He said it had been a good watch and he wanted another one  He was very happy to find one like it old one

Being a Senior I like the ease of reading the time, the light to be able in the dark to know what time it is; a very reliable watch, I have expensive ones which I don't use because this is what I like to wear for my needs.

Great watch. All twelve numbers. Lighted face and date display. Bought for my grandson as his first fancy watch. He calls it gold and silver metal and he wears it with his new little league tournament championship rings.

This new Timex watch is exactly the same as the one I've been wearing for the past 12 years. Unfortunately the old one took a licking and then quit ticking, so I had to replace it.  If this new one lasts 12 years, I'll be as happy with it as I was with the old one. I like this Timex model because it's a simple, no-frills, reliable timepiece with a comfortable expansion band, lighted face, date window and an attractive price.  This watch comes with an expansion band that's a little large for my wrist, but it's easy to remove a few links from the band so that it fits properly.
