Fast cooking, high quality

This is a fast, consistent, and very reliable rice cooker. As an Asian who has been cooking rice for decades, I can assure you that this is an excellent machine. I've personally owned two, and have purchased 5 more as gifts for relatives. Some of the other “fancier” machines have extra bells and whistles, but you don't need those. This Tiger will give you great results, quickly, and will last a long time. My last one was still ticking after 15 years.
